What should I charge for cutting my neighbors’ grass?
I’m looking to make some money for school this summer. My plan is start a non-registered lawn care “mini business”. My goal is a much lower price of the bigger “professional” lawn service companies in order in order to attract a lot of business. My mower collects clippings and will not operate without the collector, so that will be included. Should I charge more to dispose them? Should I charge more to weed eat the edges?
I pay a pro $25 each time for front and back yard of a small lot (1/5 acre). You could charge $15 to $20, I think, for a similar size yard. Mine is mowed every 2 or 3 weeks, depending on growth. I don’t think you can charge extra to dispose of clippings, but they are useful in compost.
